Hello there. I need to change a MFC-L6702DW (in Brazilian Portuguese) to english. I tried the country code 0001, guessing that i should be english. It indeed worked, but the wireless function is absent now. I’m wondering if i could try codes from other english-spoken countries, like Canada, Australia or UK. Do you have these codes available, for my model?

I have the model MFC-L2710DW. I can access to the maintenance menu by pressing *2864, but I access then to the firmware version by pressing 74 (which is 0a03). If I change to another language (like italian 0016), I modify the whole firmware version to another printer. I thus loose the fax option beyond some button functionality. Is there a different procedure for the MFC-l2710dw?

oili, do you have Touchscreen version or non-touchscreen version?
If you have non-touchscreen version I would like to know how do you type letters (like that A in code 0A03).
I typed in 0001 and I got the english version, but my model nuber went from MFC-L2710DW to DCP-L2530DW and I can’t get the 2710DW back. I have Italian version. They said that for English language I have to type in the code 0A04.

How to type letters on the numeric keypad of a Brother MFC-L2710DW in Maintenance mode:
First press the #-key and then “0” (zero) –> this gives you an “A”
#-key followed by “1” –> “B”
#-key followed by 2 –> “C”
and so forth.

Hi, i have a brother 2750DW. You know the codes for this printer ? Thx a lot :)
23.09.2019 at 11:31
@up In my model [DCP-L2750DW] You just need to find “>” sign on the virtual keyboard in MAINTANENCE mode. The screen will to change to another one with alphabetic letters instead of numbers.
To get beck to numbers just find and hit ” Polish after reboot] and model of the printer has changed to 2352DN :(

Have a mfc-j491dw how to Change language?
18.05.2020 at 15:46
For MFC-2750DW you should put 0457 and will work in English and Fax with ADF Double sided enabled
18.05.2020 at 15:48
For MFC-L2750DW you can use 0457 for english and FAX – AFD Double side works fine.

Anyone have code for italian language on 2710dw and 2710dn?
15.11.2021 at 18:55
I just got Brother MFC-L3750CDW and I was desperate because it only allowed Ostrich and German languages. I found this page, but I couldn’t get any other codes to work. So I did trial/error my self.
Found that 0758 changes to area that allows “other” language option, which is English =)
